I've been communicating with the animal and tree energies since early
childhood and in that have gone back over and over to the welcoming
embrace and wisdom of the elders - the giant knowers. They have ways
to buffer the charges that we emit and ground us with their elements -
for sure - I've found calm in their fruits, leaves, roots, crowns,
bark - topically, psychically and energetically - in all forms - from
tinctures to simple being/breathing. In spending over a year with the
pine trees I've noticed that there are very few pines that live in
solitude that this spells for them disaster - being open to dangers,
diseases and thunderstrikes. In this they live in clusters, families
if you will. There is only harmony in these collectives. They help,
protect, shelter and support each other. And man is like the tree,
after all - so many commonalities. But our jobs are different after
all. I have developed movement exercises based on the tree. It helps
with the spine. But there is only a limit on how much to get from the
tree and when to begin receiving from the Creator of the tree. And if
man/woman is a metaphor for the tree/fruit/seed as is all creation -
then what does a faulty receiving system have to say about the tree
and its relative fruit and the seed from which it stemmed? What is
within that seed that has been altered so that instead of being at
peace on the tree, in the forest - it is frazzled and electrified. How
did this change occur and what will it take to bring it back to its
original state....the other tree would probably put their branches out
to touch it and ease its frazzled state. My fear is that from the tree
it travels down to all areas effecting them all, down to its roots and
up to its crown, weakening it that all it would take is a gust of
strong wind to topple it over.

But again, this is only metaphor, we are still governed by supernal
forces that sometimes will intercede on our behalf based on our
choices of free-will, good over evil, heart openings....that just
might turn the shaky tree into a sturdy, beautiful and elegant entity.
What will it take? A shovel to dig deeper? Better water sources?
Fertilizer? More beneficial insects and critters? A splint tying it to
a stronger tree? Or like Shroeder's from the Peanuts series - simply a
blanket and love?

At this point - methinks - the remedy lies within the sap that rises
and how far, high and strongly will it reach all parts - soothing,
building and energizing all cells to grow - strong.
